How do you become the most environmentally-friendly brewery in Flanders? By closing the water cycle, for one. That is what Pantarein Water is working on at Huyghe Brewery. We optimised their water treatment plant in order to purify wastewater and turn it into process water.

On October 27th, Huyghe Brewery presented the project at the Environmental Congress. The congress, which deals with greening the economy, is organised every two years by the Department of Environment, Nature and Energy along with partners VMM, VLM, OVAM, INBO, ANB, VLAIO, UMiO and i-Cleantech Flanders.
